Been a lot of negativity and a fair dose of dread and depression at TC of late

How about we have a thread looking at the upsides

I'll start

Bucks Jnr n The Doc look like good running defenders for the LT

White no star but maybe a third tall defender, has heart

Menzel

...

There is no silver lining. That is the most positive thing that anyone could say. Everything else just gives hope, and IMO, hope is the enemy of the CFC.

There is a very thin silver lining.I watched the ressies and players like cachia graham to slow REALITY we have to start again our recruiters have to get next draft right.

Let's face it. No matter who we recruited in the past 10 years, hawthorn would still win the premiership this year.

Our losses are our silver lining. Not because of the early draft picks but because this organisation needs to be exposed and embarrassed so humiliatingly that some semblance of a ground zero change strategy/vision is acted upon.

As M25 said earlier, any little 'surprise wins' along the way feed us false hope. I don't want that hope. i want us pared back to an open wound for the football world to see and pass judgement on.

There is nothing in the ressies, virtually nothing at all. It's going to be a slow 3-5 year rebuild even if all the planets align.

The Bircher muesli at the Carlton Cafe is one of the better Birchers in Melbourne. In fact I'd be willing to bet that no other clubs' cafe has a better Bircher than Carlton. I'm somewhat of a bircher connoisseur so this is a massive silver lining....I think.
