Friday night lights, packed house at the G! Can Mick get the threepeat on his former clubs? Stranger things have happened. |

Went to see Collingwood VS Essendon*, free ticket.....We have got Flowers All beating them...Watched the game VS West Coast, maate we are sooo bad...Even though the boys showed spirit, We are not in the same league as the Collingwood's , Essendons etc... I know Ill get flamed for it...But just calling it as I see it...NO Biases... Kinda reminds me of when we oozed class, & the maggies, just made up for it with grim determination back in the day... We have no idea really...After watching both games they are on a completely different planet than us....Our only hope is we bring em down to our level....Sorry about this just my observations.... |

yeah we can win theyre not great... theyre good. if its all about who we think will win every week...dont play any games...just tick and cross each game and round and then work out who plays who and award the flag to the favourite but its more than that isnt it? it will depend on who wants it more... who is more daring and who takes their chances on the day big stage...!!!... lets see what this lot can really do!!! lets put collingwood to the test...!!!.. time to give them a stress and ourselves!!! This is what footy is all about...!!! |

I watched the Pies / Bombers game and Collingwood played some good footy. They may have played a good game against the Bombers but its early days yet, and I am not quite convinced they are all they appear to be. To lift for the Anzac's ain't no astonishing feat, but to lift for two in a row? Hrmmm we shall see ... Packed house, MCG, rivalry, ex-coach v those who ended his tenner, Eddie Mc and hordes of toothless feral neanderthals makes for anything can happen. We received a most horrible taste in our mouths when we allowed the Bombers to take a huge collective dump on our proud club recently. That taste will no doubt still be fresh in the mouths of our team, and I do not believe for a minute that we will allow anything like that to be served up again, especially against Collingwood. So I can have some confidence at least, win, lose or draw this game will be fought out tooth and nail until the final siren. |

I think we'll really miss Curnow this week. Would be a perfect matchup for Swan who's running into very good form. |

I still think playing Casboult is costly. He can't do much by mark the ball. Defensively he is terrible. Having said that we dont have an option but to play him now that Rowe is a backman. I think Beams, Swan, Pendlebury and Cloke will get the job done for the pies. We are still unreliable. Had a fair bit of luck tonight to get us back into the game but once back we did well. Yarran is in great form so will be a loss. |

Gotta play Casboult. Takes a good contested mark and made some good takles tonight. yes his kicking isnt the best, but he will get better. |

Missing Curnow Bell probably Yarran and Carrazzo & Ellard must be doubtful. Big task ahead. |
