I think Judd's position is the one most in question.

First time in a while we’ve had contested seats from memory?

Yeah , jump on board after all the hard work was done by other board members. Spineless!!

Who would take on the football director's role if Judd goes? As much as I loved him as a player, what has he brought to the role anyway?
We wouldn't know, results this year will speak for themselves

According to Wikipedia Hollingsworth is dead. However, in his day, he was a fine orchestral conductor. Sounds like a MLG plant

A quick google search will tell you John is very much alive. Understands sport and business. Been around it a long time. No reason he shouldn't be a board member. Obviously he's a Carlton supporter - but if I was another AFL club President and saw that he wanted to be a board member, I'd ask the question if he wanted to be involved at my club. Thinking outside the square is often a good thing. Carlton hasn't done it this century. Anyway...he should probably get a little PR started soonish - starting by having a crack at the nominations committee, which informed both Hollingsworth and Khatib that they did not want them to stand against current board members (who weren't voted onto the board in the first place)...

Obviously Judd stays (tokenism), so you've got to ask yourselves whether you want an HR guy or a QC. The latter makes both financial and strategic sense.

I want the HR guy and the QC. Bothe excellent operators in respective fields, & bring crucial skills and experience to help set club up for next 20+ years.
The QC is a specialist in Planning & Infrastructure - with the club working through council & state planning for a $35M Reno of Princes Park - It's a No brainer.

Hollingsworth could have potential and his connection to Sayers is interesting.

And Google tells me Khatib is a golf coach. Good for the end of season trip I guess.

Not sure that being upset at SOS' departure is a good platform, although it might attract a few votes.

15 years remaining of a lease on a City of Melbourne asset. Maybe do the reno, extend the lease then sell the lease to the AFL? Either way - my care factor is dwindling. Good luck with the novelty of voting, but I don't think it counts for much.

Chances that lease won’t be extended = zero

Not sure what your post adds to this discussion :?

I didn't vote for Judd or Campbell. Both were key players in hiring "the teacher" Bolton from Tasmania as coach. A debacle that even Blind Freddy could see. How can someone be a "teacher" when he talks in cliches wrapped inside a cliche?

Carlton hasn't played in a preliminary final since 2001. A deplorable situation. Clear out those who have contributed to this situation.

Good idea, just as we are about to get back on track.

AGM about to start.
Channel 7 news reporting that there will be a few fireworks with supporters unhappy with the SOS handling.
I wish I had gone.
Anyone here going? If so, can we get some reports.
