About as much as the next person.
I know he is extremely proud and will give absolutely everything, as he did on the field.
He is a very intelligent and balanced operator.
Having him oversee our football and list management portfolio is a perfect fit as he is a modern thinker who has only recently retired, achieved just about everything and more importantly knows just what it takes to get to the top. You couldn't dream up a better combination with SOS.

I don't doubt his credentials but l doubt the rest of the board will challenge and question his views.

With respect, that's crap. Essendon* also did this in 2012. Hird and Thompson, 2 former greats, driven champions, etc, etc. I'm not saying he's no good. It's just that he's only ever proved himself in ONE arena, and it doesn't have much to do with running a multi-million dollar enterprise.
