Where are you hearing this KPMG rumour? Do you have a reliable source?

Its a bit like that.

The school tie mob are seeing an opportunity.
They are an entitled lot, with daddy on the side to help with the knives.

You've got to be a special kind of cauliflower to ascend to CEO of any big 4 firm (or, really, any large corporate or government entity)

Makes little difference where you started, and who you (or your powerful parents, if you have them) had to knife or throw under the bus to leapfrog, but the "type" is always the same.

That's not a dig at Luke, who I found to be more approachable and chatworthy than any other "big dog" I've met. That's a dig at the "big business" world in general. Every footy club's gotta have one or three, unfortunately.

And credit due for reducing the size of the Board and esp how he handled the mid-season sniping from inside and outside the club.
I assume a lot of credit for that also goes to Cook (and Voss for how he handled himself and the team).
Of course, Sayers ultimately takes credit for getting Cook too, so…

Anyone watch the 730 Report on Channel 2 tonight ? there was a bit of this PWC thing and Luke Sayers got a good going over . Now the business world and corporate governance stuff is way over my head . However , watching the show and reading between the lines a got the feeling our Luke is a pretty canny operator who has covered his tracks nicely . Although there seems a lot of damning evidence i reckon Luke is gonna wriggle out of this nicely with barely a scratch . The top end of town seem to get great pleasure out of ripping apart blokes who were born on the wrong side of the tracks . Faaark them i say , go Luke .

I prefer the current affairs programs that tell me the stories that matter like what's on special at Coles

The bit where Senator O’Neill asked about his colleagues at the Collingwood Football Club was pretty funny.

“I’ll try not to respond to that.”
