Yep. Now we're really in the shit...

The Match Review Panel has thrown out the striking charge against Robert Warnock so now the poster boy for Carlton's "no skills" recruitment policy is free to play this weekend.

I was hoping he would get at least 12 weeks.

Seems he can't even get his striking right with the MRP finding the force used by Warnock was below that required to constitute a reportable offence.

So even when they go the knuckle they both can't to that right, and are too soft in the process?

Wasn't even worthy of a free kick.

Agreed.
You could see the umpire getting a semi while the tussle was going on. He was itching to exercise his authoritay.

He is as useful as a witches hat around the ground.

The only player in the AFL who can't actually kick a ball.

Serious question...Just how can a bloke like Warnock get this far and be on so much coin?

It's beyond me, so if anyone can enlighten me I'd appreciate it.

No matter what happens to him from this point onwards he must be pinching himself as he probably never has to work if he was wise with his money.

Thanks.

According to Malthouse he's statistically the 2nd best ruckman in the comp. What a joke. He's useless

They laughed at Harry Madden, said he wouldn't last.

Have you seen his playing record?

Not buying the Warnock hate. The whole team has been a disgrace but let's single out our lone ruckman.

The guy has played well in finals for us in the past. Yes he's playing shit, but who isn't?

He's not better or worse right now than he's always been.

Thinking this guy is OK is exactly why we are in the shit we are.

The issue is not accepting the role of the current day ruckman, who has to be more than just a guy who taps.

That's exactly right but we can extend that to how we view our whole list. An 'inside mid' is not just a man who gets the ball out of the middle, a wingman is not just a man who can run, a full back is not just someone who can handle the kick-outs... Every year we project our narrow vision on to a miserly three draft picks and a couple of castoffs. That's our list management.

Wait, is he in the team this week or not?

I'm not sure whether to call him underrated and criminally underused, or a waste of space and should be delisted.

pick 24 in whatever year we got him.
What players went after that pick plus seeing a pissed off Jacobs go back to Adelaide and nearly make All Australian and getting Patrick McCarthy and Andrew McInnes in the process this whole mess is about as bad as the Daniher Neville Fields deal all those years ago

Oh I hate the people who run this club

Either that or find career best form and then suffer a season defining injury. Seems to happen all too often.
