With so much negativity around here lately why not start a happy thread.
This is where we can post good news. It doesnt have to be about footy necessarily, but watching Collingwood lose by less than a goal after the siren would be good.
It can be a work promotion, the arrival of a new baby, a wedding, finally getting that quaddie. Anything to cheer up the mood of this forum.
So lets hear some good news.

We are suffering a hangover from the sticks ratten years. Coach is good. Recruiting is improving, we will have a new board and maybe get SOS back. You can start to see green shoots that at least we are heading in the right direction. It may take this season and next to build the foundation and start playing finals again in 2016

that's a 2 year plan before we make finals....

why wasn't it done earlier?

what makes you think it will work now?

Ask ratten sticks and Hughes. The board asked these questions 2 years ago when they changed the coach

You've got every other thread to be negative assholes.

Was the board happy when pre season started on November 1 2012 and mick Malthouse couldn't be there because of a 2 week book launching tour?

Weak board, weak leadership flows right through the club....

And when the team goes out to play you get an exact reflection of our club culture at the moment.

We will still beat the bombers tomorrow inspite of our inadequacies.

But that's what we do, play well occasionally, then be happy with the odd mediocre win here and there.

You can't separate the different parts of the club. All in with a common purpose, or down the drain we flow.

Daughter won her netball GF. They hadn't beaten the team all year but got them .

Very happy.

Naturally I'm taking it as good omen for Sunday.
