Seems to be all the rage on twitter at the moment.

It might be a bit twee, I guess, but it is somewhat pleasing to see the club is trying to be proactive in communicating with its members/supporters that the club understands it's in a bit of a hole and needs to work together to get out of it.

How about just putting in a 100% effort on the field instead of starting stupid @#$%&! social media wankfests.

Do that and the rest of the football world might stop laughing at you.

I think anything that can improve the mental side of the players is worth trying. Sellars (I think) suggested they all get a shave to show "a fresh start" . These things sometimes have an effect. The most recent I remember were the Red Sox who stopped shaving until they won the world series. I also know the playing group went to see Hughsey's stand up show this week. Anythings that can get these guys mind "cleared" is OK with me.

How about they shut up shop until Sunday? They're being criticised for their lack of effort on the footy field, not in the Twittersphere.

This does nothing but draw more criticism.

The good thing is, slowly but surely there seems to be no more denying from the club that we're bad and there is a little more acceptance about our current reality.

You can't fix a problem until you admit there is a problem ... and for the last decade the club has blissfully gone about the business of, 'We're Carlton F#@$ the rest'.

It's like, as a club, we're waking up from our hibernation.

Realistically, on the field not much is going to change. Our fitness base isn't there to be competitive over 4 quarters.

We need to put work into our bodies and our fitness. And as Synners has been confirming for us, there's a big element of the playing group who don't like hard work.

How long should it take for us to get to where we need to be to be competitive? Should we expect this by June? August? Next season?
