Have to consider how far back Menzel has come from in terms of conditioning/pre seasons.

At least Dawes had a 30 goal year. Casboult still hasn't reached that for his career.

Would anyone consider swapping Garlett for Callum Sinclair at WCE?

Good young ruckman who can push forward. If Casboult goes or Kruezer doesn't come up he would be a good option.

Strange that WCE's are supposedly chasing Lowden from Hawks yet still have NN, Lycett, Sinclair and recent report rating Fraser McInnes as a ruck (thought he was more KPP, and signed up for another year).

Think Sinclair signed this year too for another 2yrs but looks like being down the pecking order.

I'd take it. What makes you think he's worth anything?

Are you @#$%&! serious...lost the plot. You're looking at this year, look at the 5 before it. I'm so glad ur not on the selection committee

What do you think he's worth? I thought getting a pick around mid 30s might of been pushing it. I can't see anyone offering anything better. Be interesting to see what happens as I have no doubt he is going.

Considering from all reports he wants to go home then pick 38 is fair value. Get used to the idea that we are getting poor value for Garlett.

Its similar to getting bent over on the Jacobs trade but doing well for docherty. Swings and roundabouts.

I really do hope Jeff Remains at the Club. I still think he has something to offer. He is a good Small Forward and can kick multiple goals. He does offer something. I feel he is been crucified this year by Mick and the club, maybe some of it is his fault and lack of commitment to his football.

Also, do you guys think that Watson has saved his career by kicking 4 Goals as a forward? Is he going to stay on our list? should Mick give him a crack as a permanent forward next year?

Watson was safe before today as he's contracted and I doubt any club wanted him in a trade.

Jeff is pretty much gone. Just fingers crossed we get something for him. I want to keep him though.

It would be nice if Triple M (yeah, I know) did their research - they kept going on today about how Watson might have saved his career (obviously not realising that he is contracted for next year anyway) with this performance and how it was apparently a masterstroke for Mick to send him forward today (when he had been playing as a forward in the VFL for some weeks now and was only going to play for the seniors in that role).

And Duigan kicked 4 in a match winning finals effort but that didn't save his career (think he would have been pushed out if not for his injury...)
But it shows something for Watson. There may be some value in him yet.

Not sure that's correct about Duigan.

I'm gonna call it now. Jeffy to Adelaide to play with Eddie, and we'll get their early 20's midfielder guy whos name escapes me. Hopefully it's a straight swap and we don't need to give up a pick. You'd suggest after Malthouses comment RE: having "5 who can't fit into 3", means we'll almost certainly be prioritising midfielders and run this off-season. If we can somehow score Jaksch..... we're rolling.

That, or, the guy I had in mind was Sam Kerridge (younger, higher draft pick, bigger body).

Have heard Kerridge whispers too. Trying to swap for Robbo.
