Honestly ... I don't know ... there are 3 possible candidates that have been mentioned.

What I do know is that Tom Elliot is a chip off the old block. But even if this were not the case ... have a listen to him ... I guess he is the sought of bloke you would expect on 3AW. Its his niche ... he fits perfectly into the worst radio station in Melbourne. Let him stay there.

Unless there is a change in the board, Logiudice will be president.
He is their preference

Caro just mentioned she had also heard rumours of Tom Elliott. Even scarier, she had heard whispers of Fraser Brown & SOS.

And it's Sticks preference to have someone internally promoted for a "seamless" transition. Maybe after the 150th Dinner, he'll be happy to let the handover begin.

These guys are treating it like a local council where they all to deals on who will be the next Mayor. They share it around.

How about a President / Board that doesn't rely on wealthy individuals for financial support, rather gets top level sponsors, and finds other innovative and morally sound ways of making money, and then puts the right people in place at executive level to make good decisions to take the Club forward? We need to move away from relying on individuals and families for their financial input.

That's all well and good....and I agree; however

how about looking at our on field leaders????????????

Did anyone notice Murphy's INSIPID efforts against the drug cheats? ( please put together a package Wookie)

1....Roughed up by a 1st gamer and no response
2....Shit himself on the boundary and handballed/stumbled backed due to perceived pressure.....embarrassing
3....Attempted to tackle a drug cheat and slipped down around his ankles....the drug cheat looked at him with contempt

He is not a leader....our players know it, and the rest of the league laughs!!!!!

Fish rots at the head????

Well Warnock is our largest on field fish, but in reality he's a shrimp...or a bit of microbiological bottom feeding waste that is the greatest embarrassment to ruckman in our history.
Pea hearted, softcock, nancy boy....I'm 175cm and 85kg.....god I would love to have one contest against that soft cock

What about Alan Eskander.

Just sold his biz. He's rich but not insanely so.

Loves Carlton, said this morning he'd love to be on the board.

He actually made the point that board members shouldn't just sit, they should roll their sleeves up and do some work. Not sure who that was directed at.

He also hates Malthouse so he gets my vote.

maybe he might.

He's got a bit of time on his hands.

Trouble is the two families and their idiot relatives have us addicted to their cash.

Clean break would help. New ticket, approach the AFL for a loan.

We'd be better off being a grass roots club that looks to it's members to be more than just a revenue stream to be treated as plebs.

The board have shored up their unaccountable status with their squillion poker machines... they don't need to answer to dopey members who think they're failing

Deadly serious Mark.

The AFL spends money all over the place.

If not them, then we need some mechanism for removing the current board and making sure we are no longer dependent on their families money for our survival.

Not that I want an Elliot near the board but there needs to be a deadset shit fight, and if Tom can ensure that happens then it can only be a good thing
