Here's some photos I took on my recent visit to Princes Park, and while knowing the inevitable let's go back to Princes Park pissing match that will follow, I did think the black and white treatment was apt given much of the current discussion elsewhere on the main board...

Camel, I think it's fair to say that is what happens when you neglect something. Does not mean it's not fixable however.
Anyway - I'm over the whole discussion and the sh1t that gets thrown around because I support a 3rd stadium in Melbourne and that to be PP. Over and out!

Lets start playing games at PP again. Why hasn't anyone ever brought that up?

Should we?

Greats Photos Camelboy - we all have some great memories at PP. It was so exciting walking to the ground before a game. I still get the same feeling at the G.

Some great pics. The Pratt Stand (Hawthorn Stand) won't be there forever. I foresee that being knocked down/revamped in the next 10 years.

Great shots there. The place still holds the magic for me but the new facilities just leaves me cold. Richmond`s makes ours look 3rd rate.

It's a shame the new development is so architecturally unappealing from the outside. And a shame, too, that the Social Club had to make way.

Should have been the Legends Stand that got knocked down, haha!

Agree.
Or just renovated the Harris Stand with the facilities underneath.

I'd tear down all those old grandstands and replace with grass embankment bordered with Elms and Figs

If the AFL, govt and council want it and will develop it all good. Would never be permanent for us, but say a 7-4 split between there and the G would be great. Other clubs would use it for low drawing games. Everyone's happy.

I'd love to see PP made into a boutique stadium.

25 000 for games against Freo, Port, Lions, GWS etc.

Be great!

PS Wont happen!

Princes Park *was* a boutique stadium for lower drawing crowds. I think a North v Melbourne game drew 12K one time.

Nobody liked going there except Carlton fans and, as The Rhino has illustrated, even that's debatable, haha.

That said, it's our white elephant, and as such I'll always love it!
