Well I'm at the stage were I believe we have lost our identity and advantage.
I am so frustrated and depressed that I am now willing to vote and accept that we move our club to Tasmania and play all our games between Launceston and Hobart.
At the very least this will give us an identity, future and maybe even give me another option to invest in.
Yep - I've also become more selfish by being part of the TC community for so long.
I dont think it is as bad as that Surrey.
I know who Carlton is, just the results havent insoired me over the last 10 years.
We will have our day in the sun....and it might be after the Suns and GWS have theres.
Always said that one day there will be no Roghhead and Buddy at Hawthorn, let alone spitiritual leaders Hodge and Mitchell, No Reiwodlt and Dal Santo at the Saints, No Jobe and Fletcher at the Bumbers etc etc. The wheel turns.
We didnt make the most of our drafting and trading because our list strategy wasnt right.
I believe we took winning from granted and the Judd signing whilst inspriring took our eyes off the game plan to succeed.
These days we have to be tougher with list decisions. I hope we've learned a bit about holding on to old players too long, and over rating players, let alone carrying deadwood.
We'll win more than we lose, and I'll still enjoy the Blues whever they play.
Tasmania is not a big market. Carlton is bigger than that.
Hawthorn took advantage of the void in Tasmania and have reaped the rewards with revenue above and beyond their wildest dreams.
