Tram service changes

Route 19 will operate as Route 19a in two sections:

Trams - North Coburg terminus to Cameron Street (behind Brunswick Tram Depot)
Tram replacement buses - Cameron Street (behind Brunswick Depot) to a temporary bus stop on Elizabeth Street north of La Trobe Street.
Route 19a passengers heading to the Elizabeth Street terminus can catch any tram from Stop 5 Melbourne Central Station.

Replacement buses will follow the normal tram route, stopping as close as possible to the normal tram stops. Stop 7 Victoria Market will not be serviced during this time.

Routes 57 and 59 will operate as normal.

During the work, trams and tram replacement buses will operate to the normal service frequency. However they may not arrive at the scheduled time. Yarra Trams suggests that you allow extra time for your journey.

Beauty. Usually a stinking hot day. Will put away a fair few beers at a nearby pub then stroll on down. Is there beer for sale there too?

Have been to these the last 3 years, not a chance in hell this time. Queues - long ones - for everything possible, no parking, sadly a complete waste of time historically.

Shame, but hopefully lessons have been learnt. They werent last year or the year before sadly.
