With a new year comes a new footballing season,
we all have hopes for our team in 2014,
if you could predict the future -
what would be your resolution
for our navy blues?

Mine is that andrew walker play up forward
chris yarran in the middle
and that jeffy garlett and troy menzel
fill the hole left by Eddie Betts' departure.

Don't know about resolution but my wants for Carlton this year would be:

1. Watson to hold down CHB. Key to making many other aspects of the mix working including the ability for Walker to go forward again.

2. Lucas and Bootsma to toughen up. Want to see these guys smashing the door down for a regular 22 spot. Your job Buttifant.

3. A further developed system in the VFL. Went a long way last year and will need further refinement for all the new kids to prosper in.
