Maclure would be a better option than Madden. Has more conviction and understands what a club needs to succeed. |

I appreciate that's your opinion but no substance as to why. Little commercial know-how / Reliance on competent people around him and when that fails, so does he. That said - he's the ideal man for the Mathieson/Pratt Carlton oligarch. But I can't see Justin taking it on regardless. Surely he's had enough of thankless tasks? |

He liked to play, and go home . Though was funny around the club, only when it suited. Anyway, that's how I remembered the book. |

I think he's more the sort of bloke who just doesn't fit into the blokey mould of footy player, doesn't buy into the whole player/ex-player bullshit and tends to walk to the beat of his own drum in that way. Whether he's president material, I wouldn't know, others would know him and his abilities in that way better than me. Still, could he be worse? |

As he will have time on his hands whilst living off his fat Tax Payer funded super, he may be able to design another Smorgy Land |
