Nice to hear from Brad Fisher ahead of Simmo's 200th. http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/2013-0 ... mate-simmo Quote: He’s been such a reliable player and a fan favourite because he’s always cracked in, even in those early years when we weren’t going so well. He gave it everything then as he still does now. He’s got this great reputation for playing well at Carlton, of giving everything in a big game, particularly when the chips are down, and he absolutely loves that dark Navy Blue jumper that he wears. ![]() |

But really, Simmo deserves his place along side the other Carlton greats in the 200 club hall of fame. Courage Skill Heart. |

Ratts lost a heap of respect from the players when he left Fish hanging on 99. |

What a great tribute from Fish! Well done indeed... I'm sure Simmo would have been chuffed to read it. On a side note (I'm not sure where else to post this), I give the club enough brickbats, so time to hand out a bouquet. I think they're doing well on social media now. I've been very impressed with the #believe campaign and encouraging supporters to use their passion in co-creating the brand. A huge tick to whoever developed that one. |

Funny Simmo probably turned out better than Wells and Goddard anyway. There's a recruiting lesson right there. |

Man love for simmo from the Fish!!! Wow an insight into a great friendship and how much both love the club. Rare for players to have an affection for a footy club given its more of a business these days!! |

Definitely should've gotten another game. Remember his 99th against the pois, we got flogged but he still took a few grabs & scored a couple of junk time goals, certainly was not the worst on the day. Deserved better than being stranded on 99. Same with Houlihan being sub for his 200th, just leaves a bad taste but at least he got the milestone. On Simmo, a thorough gentleman, met him in Ireland after the Australians played a trial game in my home city. He was absolutely frozen having finished about 30mins of media interviews on field still in his gear but he took the time to pose for a pic & a chat with mrs navyirish & myself. |

Time to right the wrong. Lets start the campaign to get Fish on the rookie list for one last game. God knows we've had worse on the rookie list. |

Really disappointed with Ratten not playing Fish for he's 100. It wasn't as if he didn't deserve it. |
