I'm predicting this to get more hits than the wins somehow

Bulldogs for mine. Beaten comprehensively by a team who had struggled to that point of in season while we were supposed to be fighting for a spot in the finals.

They were one of the form sides of the comp when we got them! Had pushed Essendon* and Sydney the whole way.

It was the St.Kilda loss for mine. And while I only arrived at half-time, it was insipid football where we played into the oppositions hands far too often.

Good threads these. Reminds us that while we'll finish 6th or higher - we still have a list that finished 9th.

Maybe my opinion is coloured because it was the only game I got to

The St Kilda loss was my next pick. Carlton played stupid football that day.

For me personally it was the second Collingwood game. The capitulation after being 5 goals up was mesmerising in its insipidness. Quite simply one of the most gutless performances I've seen from any Carlton team.

(and yes, this is bearing in mind the two Essendon* losses)

Not on the list but I'm tipping our NEXT loss will hurt the most.

the saints loss at the end of the season looks bad, and as disappointing as it was, we had one hand tied behind our back due to in game injuries. We fought it out and nearly pinched it.

The Pies game for mine is the only one were we really rolled over all year.

Dogs loss was disappointing but didn't surprise me.

Most painful was easily the second bombers game. mother f***ing cheats **** !

This is really tough.

Part of me thinks Saints loss...but then I think injuries.
I've ruled out the Bulldogs loss - they were in form, and we were coming at 3 qtr time but had no bench in the last. Reckon we might have got up otherwise.

We were never really in a winning position in either of those games (not sure we lead in either?), so has to be one of the Bombers losses....probably the last one. Killed them that night.

Round 22 it is.

Would have to be the second Essendon* loss, i felt so sick i could not eat my dinner that night and I didn't speak to my family until after midday the following day, and I am still gutted we gave Hird such a heroic send off.

Essendon** round 22...

The only time in my life I loathed the club and hated being a Carlton supporter... lucky to have had 1 hour sleep that night

I felt worst after the first Essendon* lost but that wasn't actually such a bad performance.

The second Essendon* loss was really bad, but in terms of effort and courage our loss to Collingwood was insipid and definitely our worst of the year.

I would add that at least for the Essendon* loss the players cared but panicked and kept missing goals.

I watched the Collingwood loss from ground level and have never seen a Carlton team roll over like that one did that night. It was absolutely disgraceful.
