I know we should be taking it one week at a time, but...

We play Sydney at the larger Telstra Stadium rather than the SCG. This suits our free running style better.

If we win we're off to Perth where we have a strong record. We love the large expanses of Subiaco.

Meanwhile Geelong (assuming they beat Port) have to play Hawthorn, and we all know about Kennett's curse.

So all things going to plan, we then play Geelong in the Grand Final, and we have beaten them at the MCG a few times before (as opposed to how we normally go at Etihad).

So looks like 2013 is our year to go all the way...

First team to ever win it from ninth!

I can just imagine the screams of pain emanating from Windy Hill if that was to happen. :smoking:

There's actually less space on ANZ arena than the SCG.

Hope that doesn't throw your theory into disarray.

True, I couldn't believe that when I looked it up. Positive is that the Swans generally play crap at ANZ.

If we were to somehow make the GF, our only chance of winning it would be v Geelong (unless Port made it!). Hawks would spank us.

ANZ Stadium is longer but narrower

ANZ Stadium 170m x 128m
SCG 149m x 136m

Has ANZ Stadium grown?

I have it as 160 * 118

ANZ far bigger... 21 metres longer and just 8 metres narrower.

The thing that will help us is that we would be underdogs in every game

It's easy to get carried away after an exhilarating performance like that, but we need to kick it up a notch to compete with the remaining teams, let alone beat them.

Remember people, it was Richmond.

Two game winning streak, two come from behind victories against 5th and 8th and a new spearhead in Duigan.

Nah, it's basically in the bag already. ;)
