Sorry, I just read what AW had to say about last weekend in his SEN on air segment - good leadership and true words. Well done Walks.

Just repeating the rhetoric of the super coach. It always happens ...

As I have said before ... MM is great at PR. This is one of the biggest snow jobs of all time.

yeah...it stated back in 1996....and still going strong.

MM wasn't around back then...so who is (or are) the common denominator?

Who's this upstart muppet Judd anyway?
No credibility
Just a marionette with MM pulling all the strings.
Discredit immediately
Back to the floor show that is "SAKC MALTHOUSE"
Now if Gibbs had spoken, I would've listened. He's a breath of fresh air

Just proves what most of us have been saying regarding the playing groups mental strength.
If they don't believe in themselves who is going to believe in them?
That is so disappointing coming from a leader at our club but it doesn't surprise me.
So disappointing and depressing. Hate to think MM is making them believe they are mediocre!!!!
Terrible, terrible leadership from all parties.

At 9-10 after 20 rounds and sitting in ninth I'm happy to hear our players admit they are mediocre and talk about the improvement they need to make to get to the next level. Any discussion of still believing they are a top team and have been unlucky etc. would just be a load of rubbish. No problem with Judd's comments at all.

disagree

breath of fresh air to hear the truth as we are mediocre (we lost to the Bulldogs), what else could he say

better than Sticks predicting 2 premierships by 2015 - now that is also mediocre

Just goes to show you will believe if it suits you.

The coach has the full support of the board and he is contracted next year.
He is a required player.
We have postponed contract talks until the end so I can concentrate on my footy but I love the club and am expected to stay.
I’m not aware of any offers that’s up to my manager.
The coach has the players full support.

As did Ratten last year.

Just like you believe the Walls article because it suits you

You really must cover your argumentative tracks a bit better

You got me thinking and I can see your point of view.

I know we have played well without him in the last 3 years and won.
But these last 6 or so weeks he's been our band aid.
He got the nut and dished it out under extreme pressure to hold his feet.

That's right Walls has written and explained in point form with statistics.

Malthouse has told us so we believe said the blind faith of his disciples.

..Redback you can use Walls' articles, usually he makes good points.. .but if we continue to flounder, and he suggests MM puts on the boots again and takes a turn in the ruck.. ..you must put away the paper.. ..deal..?..

It's interesting to see how the different media outlets use quotes from interviews to put a different slant on things.

This was the quote from Judd on the afl site's report which was linked here;

"We're a mediocre team," Judd told reporters at a cancer charity event.

"It has given us some real clarity on where our club and where our list is at.

Here is the quote from the age contained in this article;

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/c ... 2rvxq.html

While Malthouse spoke on radio of the potential hollowness of becoming a finalist by default, Judd said he'd given it no thought. His goal was improvement - in a Carlton team he described as self-evidently ''mediocre'' this season, and also in his wounded knee.

I don't think anyone could argue that we haven't been mediocre this season.
