Following his SEN interview this morning, once again Malthouse has put himself and his reputation ahead of the playing group, ahead of his employers and ahead of the club.

The board deserves to cop the criticism it is getting, we all know that. The board needs renewal too.

Either way MLG will be criticised if he sakcs Mick now or during the bye-bye. So he may as well do it now and end the charade.

What do you think?

:banghead:

Nah, that's what he wants.

Keeps us in the news for a while.

Yes, every game he coaches from now hurts the club

Great play Blues, Malthouse is pissed he is not getting his own way and acting like a narcissistic fool.

I'd keep him for two weeks still, just to rub it in, then send a press release stating he has been sacked and replaced by Barker until end of year. No need for a media conference, just rub it in his face.

Probably not a lot, no.

But we know it's going to happen, so unless there are legal or financial implications causing delay, which is quite likely, then they may as well end the farce now and start the off-field rebuild.

Listening to the media this morning this has clearly shifted the focus towards the Board which is good.

They should just Milton him. Re-allocate his carpark. Deactivate his access pass on rainy days. Move his office into the basement. Keep paying him and then after the two weeks just stop without announcing.

What an utter shambles of a club we have become. Irrespective of if Mick is or isn't going to coach next year this process is embarrassing.

Our board and club have no ability to stay the course on any major decision we make once the media apply pressure.

Look how the bombers in far worse situation with even more pressure defended and kept Hird.

Just cannot believe what a joke it is. However now having told him he is gone in two weeks may as well tell him now.

A caretaker coach for over half a season will be a joke. I suspect the losing margins will get worse and worse and if I was a player I would want out.

Absolutely... this is the one positive as by moving on him the focus now shifts to them
