Say what you like about the list, MM as coach has failed in a lot of ways this year. A couple of displays like that next year and he'll be back in the media. |

Pagan esque bombing to contests. Squillions spent to get this shit. When will the board take some responsibility? |

Malthouse: "This will be a great test for our team. We could fold up the cards or make a statement. It's an opportunity to stand up." Malthouse: "Jeff has a corked glute." Malthouse: "Judd will probably miss the rest of the season. He has a medial ligament strain." Malthouse: "I know exactly where we are. Sides in the eight deserve to be there." Malthouse: "The Dogs totally and utterly deserve their victory." Malthouse: "Wouldn't I love our injuries to be the reason... The Bulldogs were hungrier and they made a mockery of our defensive pressure." |

Appointments made to cover their arses, try to show the membership they're doing something. They don't have a plan. The club has a white knight complex. It isn't the 80s anymore where chequebooks ruled. Pagan esque bombing to contests. |

Dear Carlton GET STUFFED. If anyone says we lost today due to injuries, I'll SPEW UP. You did nothing for the 1st quarter and a half..before the injuries. You can take your post match party, and shove it up your ar$e. I hope no one turned up. As for you Malthouse The players do not appear to be playing for you. Far from it. They are lacklustre, lacking pride and passion. They are nowhere. Gibbs, who I thought you might turn into a superstar, is playing exactly where he was under Ratts. Walker used to shine. Now he's a workhorse. Really, all you've done is swap Hendo for Walks. You could swap them back for about the same result. Big frikkin deal. I'm ashamed of the team. They give us nothing. We give them everything. You know you are in trouble when the supporters all try harder than the team. |

Our leadership group should be Hendo, Touhy, Curnow and Cachia. That's it. The rest don't deserve shit |

Tonight was an ironic result for mine. This is mainly because when I think of our climb off the bottom post-2007, my highlight game was actually the one in 2008 against the Dogs. Yep... that's right. The absolute apex of our post wooden spoon period in my mind was the 2008 game against the Dogs at Etihad where we were nearly thirty points down and beat them by nearly thirty points. The one where Fev turned to Lake (I think?) and told him he was lucky because the Fev show was about to start and Lake had the best seat in the house. We were young, we were full of promise, we were fit, and we ran all over them. Gibbs looked like he'd be a Brownlow medallist, Judd was in his prime, Kreuzer was deadly in front of goal and influencing games. For mine, it has been downhill ever since. We were frail against the Lions in that first final and then against the Swans in the second. Yes we beat the drug cheats (possibly before they were drug cheats ![]() That's why tonight is ironic for me. If 2008 v the Bulldogs signaled hope and the promise of a flag, 2013 versus the Bulldogs was where it was snuffed out once and for all. Kreuzer didn't play but his knee has cruelled him, Murphy is currently almost a hologram of a footballer, Gibbs has never gone anywhere, Judd's body means his best is behind him, and the best seats for the Fev show are in the Vanuatu Casino. A deep breath and time to move on from this list. Let's hope that at some time in 2014 we do something radical like get a Rising Star nominee (who was our last one?). Or in the offseason we actually do what other clubs do and embrace the draft. Or maybe scour other club's lists for that nugget of gold that no one else can see rather than get stooged with someone else's rubbish. May the force be with us. |

And the sad thing is, MM probably has no idea how us supporters and members feel about our performances this year as he simply would not feel anything towards this club. He will turn this team around, it will happen. He knows what he's doing, it's his job. But just don't expect him to feel what we are feeling at this moment. We are just another place of employment for him. |
