McInnes should be back and I'd like to see Graham come in.

Yep, 4 wins in a row and beating a top team is what this game is about.

Another mental hurdle to jump

Am I colour blind or are our jumpers getting more like the old dark Navy as before than the crap blue of lighter shade they been wearing for the past 5 years or more? Has anyone else noticed this or is my settings on me TV making me getting excited for nothing........?
Have to admit we looked alot more serious when we played with old dark Navy Blue!!!!

Hey Marcou. Good call. I felt it looked more like the Navy Blue jumper but then maybe it's my old eyes playing games as well.
Either way - when we wear all dark navy and win, everything looks rosy and feels like the 80's.

Interesting to see if Malthouse is prepared to make a tough call and drop Carrots. Has been woeful since his return and cost us dearly today. At the moment is getting a gig based on reputation alone. I thought Rowe also struggled to have an impact in a game which should have suited him.
Levi and Menzel/Graham would be my preferred replacements. Unfortunately Malthouse comes across as very conservative when it comes to blooding youngsters.

Conundrum

Not sure, but perhaps it's the difference of our jumpers in natural daytime light as opposed to synthetic light at night games?

Two big ruckmen - Clarke and Sandilands

Does Warnock come into the team?

They've got the Ross Lyon gameplan down to perfection. Our forward line entries simply MUST improve, or else we'll see the ball sail over time and again.

By the same token 2 goals a quarter should see us run out comfortable winners...

..would rather bring in levi.. .... ..sandi is a shadow of his former self, they're not a particularly good/strong clearance team..

Yes, very good point. I couldn't stand that faded blue they have been wearing.

A friend of mine said it looks like Carlton are wearing black (re: vs GC)- and I said "Good, the DARK navy blue should be so dark that it is almost like black" It shouldn't be like a washed out blue that has been in the washer too many times.

Re: playing Fremantle - the key is to physically hurt their key midfielders. Great to see Robinson hunt down Ablett vs GC. The time for being physically hunted is over for Carlton. Get rid of the reputation of being a soft team. Fyfe and Mundy should cop tackles from 2-3 players, they should get a hip and shoulder or two. No more Mr Nice Guy.

Yep. Would like to see us go with Henderson, Rowe & Casboult as our fwd line. We lacked a third marking forward yesterday.

Expect Simpson to get a defensive forward.

Tough game to call.

If Freo's disposal is as bad as it was against the Tigers we are a chance, but Etihad is easier to defend than the MCG.

Graham to come in, sounds like a guy who doesn't make a lot of errors which will be important .

If we win this,
I'm gonna start getting excited.*
Waitey might be a chance..it's almost 2 weeks.
Yes, happy if they take a chance with Graham.
Not sure if Rowe will stay in..
Need Carrots to lift,lift lift.

* that is, I would be excited if I wasn't so enthralled by the Essendon* thread.

Reckon Ross Lyon knows that Kade Simpson is our barometer and will target him accordingly.Reckon its time for our so called boxer to let it be known that bash Simmo an ya gunna have to deal with me.Once again the onus is on Chris Yarran to show what it means to wear
" The Old Dark Navy Blue " .Yarran no doubt has got it,but i cant think of a Carlton player who has shitted me more than this guy in recent years.I might sound hard on the guy,but christ he is annoying to watch. For a so called tough guy he is so limp wristed.Instead of hanging out for the cheap hero tackle, get in and get it and let them tackle you Chris.Tough guys aint the ones that hand out punishment.A real tough nut can ABSORB punishment.Seriously,is Yarran a cat ?
