That sucks. Hopefully no long term side effects.

Looks like Watto now has his chance and McInnes won't get his rest.

WOW. That's awful news. Glad he is okay though. I rate him.

Thought he would replace McInnes this week who is likely to get a rest.

Is it Laidler time???

CarltonFC: Malthouse: "Simon will be OK for next year. It's a shame he won't be available for the rest of the season. He was due to come in this week."

"White is expected to spend the next eight weeks wearing a neck brace and Malthouse said the injury underlined the importance of rules protecting players heads and necks."

White ducked his head into the tackle

sorry to hear about the injury.
I do hope Laids gets his chance now..although perhaps not against younger legs first up?

ouch.

Consider him to have the potential to be a very good player for us though unfortunately keeps getting injured. Hopefully he recovers quickly and more importantly, with no long term effects.

Gee, he is a lucky boy. Could have been so much worse.
Maybe the heading is a little dramatic.
Good luck to him.

Bad news.

Re Laidler....caught a glimpse of him very early in the VFL game last week...early enough that the conditions wouldn't have taken their toll....he looked to not be moving well to me..looked unfit, out of condition, like that knee had hobbled him.

Hope I'm wrong.

Laidler hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire in the VFL.

Gold Coast on a fast track at Metricon is a far cry from Box Hill on a bog heap.
