We understand that you will be very disappointed and angry with our performance.

Not only have we let you down, we have let ourselves down and the Club.

I'd like to think that the three previous losses were honourable, as we fought until the very end. Unfortunately our performance against Collingwood contained little resistance, which is very disappointing.

Whilst we had control of the game early, Jarrad Waite's injury did throw our balance out. Nonetheless, you'd expect a lot more from our playing group.

Once Collingwood got on top, they stayed on top and we didn't get back in the game.

This is really disappointing, as usually our players have the capacity to fight back.

So we have a lot to make up to you.

This weekend will be a great test. St Kilda played very well against Fremantle on Sunday. They showed a lot of pride and a lot of effort.

We now have to match that. The last few occasions against St Kilda, we haven't been able to, so this is our opportunity to do something about it.

We owe this to you. You are the backbone of the Club and we need to make it up to you.

We are going to do everything humanly possible to get us back on the right track.

Dear Mick,

Thank you for your honesty and candour.

However do you think that the coaching panel and match committee should shoulder some responsibility for going into this game with one less tall than they should have and also with at least 2 players who whilst bravely put their hand up to play were clearly not right to play.

Whilst we hope for a truly greater effort from our team this week against St Kilda let's not again fall for the trap of putting anything other than 22 truly fit blokes out on the field this week.

Yours faithfully,

Agro

Buy me a skinny latte and an Eggs Benedict tomorrow and invite me to closed training sessions for perpetuity and all's forgiven Mick.

(Very disappointed. Very angry. You've let me down).

Mick looks worn out. Too many sleepless nights pondering "WTF was I thinking?"

Love his honesty.

However, Id like to see us practice what we preach and put words into action. Would love to see us smash the Saints, Roos and GC in the next three weeks and continue on a nice long winning streak thereafter.

Then, and only then, will I be happy.

Malthouse trolling Talking Carlton now? An internal review is requested!

To be fair, never saw Ratts address the members/supporters in this fashion, either via video or coaches reports for any of the absolute stinkers we dished up, especially last year.

While we spend eons on here talking about the board, recruitment etc, the truth is many rank and file members (by their own admission) watch what goes on on the field and "don't get involved in all that business stuff." He's never gonna pot the board etc in pressers but rest assured there's stuff going on.

If anyone thinks MM isn't accepting accountability for any of this/isn't passionate, you only need to see half time sprays and his reactions in the box. He's in this up to his eyeballs...he won't rest until this team is firing. He's probably coming up against a lot more resistance than he anticipated - some of which is dumb, lazy football, some unwillingness to change - which is making things a bit more difficult. Rest assured persistence will beat resistance...how long this takes remains to be seen.

Apology accepted, now go about responding in damaging fashion (as Collingwood did to us) by burying an inferior (albeit bogey) opponent in the Aints.

Dont have to apologise to me.............we were due for a shellacking at some stage.

BUT,i do want an apology for the first time we played the Saints, coz that was putrid beyond belief and definately unpredictable..........the first Saints outing, thats the one that was inexcusable.

Dear Mick

Play warnock and tell kruezer that if he doesn't like playing forward, stiff poop.

Please recruit footballers that have near perfect disposal by foot. Not athletes that can run fast and poor kicking skills.
Recruit Players that work just as hard defensively than they do running forward. Any cheats that run forward assuming the ball is going our way 99% of the time to be smarter or flower off. Any player that can't tackle can't play until they know how.

No need to aplogise Mick, it's not your fault we have a sirvere lack of leadership. Time to put the boot in and give these lazy sods a kick up the the backside. Definitely a handful of players they shouldn't apologise. Bit sadley the majority do. Completely went into their shells. I could go on on about some things but we have plenty already.
