Does anybody else watch this?

For the past two weeks, all the Carlton media video updates have gone missing and been replaced with highlights and press conferences from last year...yes, we get re-live the glory of the Ratten sacking all over again.

I've checked out the other club channels and they are all chock full of their current releases.

Two weeks ago, I rang Telstra - they didn't even know Carlton had a TV Channel on T Box (this was going well...)

Today, I rang the club to help them out by letting them know.

On the CFC website there is an entire department dedicated to uploading video grabs and interviews - it's just a shame nobody is interested enough to check their own work...

The receptionist told it had nothing to do with her (care factor...) and she quickly transferred me off to an answering machine with an out of date message...

A few hours later I left another message for the General Manager of Digital Media to call me, so I could help them with their 2013 approach to marketing.

(still waiting for the call back...)

Well done WW and good luck in getting a reply.

Willie I had the same issue with Bigpond TV (through the internet and I believe the T Box feeds of the same content). Each club had their own channel on there as well; with match highlights, interviews etc but this has also changed, it is just a general AFL channel. I think Telstra has changed the content on what is shown not the club.

It's still divided up club by club... All the pressers, pre & post match inteviews, replays are all there.

All of the clubs except for Carlton.

I noted the girl who has been doing the interviews started at Channel Ten tonight as their new footy reporter...I wonder why she left Carlton TV??!!

Our club has improved on the media front but are still miles behind. This is yet another example of trying to cut corners and getting found out.

It may be like keeping up with the Joneses, but if Essendon* and Collingwood have their own TV shows on Foxtel, it is unacceptable that we don't. While the club continues to take an easy way out on things like this, we fall further behind our competitors.

Pies and Dons a) make far more revenue than we do and b) can afford to fork out the half a million a year in production costs to have their crap on foxtel

Why is this Carlton's fault? :?

Not sure that we run Telstra.

Didn't say it was the club's fault, what I am saying is if they didn't cut corners and were to have their own show on TV then it wouldn't be such an issue...internet shows are not the way to do it. Not everyone is home at 10am on a Tuesday.....nor parked in front of a computer. Prime time TV on the sport's parent channel is the way to do it. If we want to live up to the big brand we supposedly make ourselves out to be, then we ought to start acting like it.

@TheWookie - Not sure it's 'crap' television. Comes across as very professional and certainly more so than people calling in through Skype. Surely through our sponsorship deals of Mars and Hyundai and Visy we would be able to fund such a thing. Seems to work for the other two.

I too am wondering what is going on, a google search lead me here, I regularly watch Carlton tv on tbox, love the blue print and watching replays whenever I wanted, it must be a Telstra issue as I found the blue print by going bigpond videos > sport> afl > latest, and then scrolled through all the videos until I came across it, but still ya should be able to go direct through Carlton tv.
It looks as though the last 9 months uploads have been deleted. The latest upload now is mick malthouse is welcomed to Carlton !
