I loved the game tonight but I was almost embarrased at how biased the call was for us. Tim Lane and Robert Walls were barracking for us so hard it was ridiculous! I don't think I've heard Lane praise the Blues so much.
I felt the call was not putting the Dogs down so much, but pumping the Blues up.
I shouldn't feel bad, the Pies get the rub every game that Ed calls :x

Yeah, spot on. Makes the game all the more enjoyable.

I just cannot get over the words 'Grand Final' linked to the Blues within the same sentence. Its been a while!

They were enjoying it yes, but it wasn't like when Dermie and Eddie commentate on Filth games, and Dermie tries to argue every free that goes against the filth was wrong. That is biased. Lane and Walls just weren't hiding who they support but I think they still called the game well.

Wasn't it great to hear the unbridled joy in both their voices talking about how great Carlton were playing, how solid the defnce was, how good Lance was playing, Fev's work ethic...........
Love it!

It was pure GOLD when Walls gave it to Anthony Hudson about Geelongs GF record when Hudson had a go about our night GF record (2 from 9 apparently). To his credit, he had a laugh about it. Eddie would have pissed and moaned like he usually does when someone says something bad about his beloved Poowood

I'd give them Walls and Lane a 10/10 on last night's performance.

Going on a different tangent anyone hear Mark Maclure on ABC match preview with Simon Garlick. He's talkin up the blues style of play (long direct, move the ball quickly) when he handpasses beautifully to garlick with the opening line

"So Simon tell us about the doggies style !!!!"

Pure champagne
