Chance to go 3-3.

Assuming Gibbs is fit my changes would be:

In: Ellard Casboult
Out: Curnow Hampson

Curnow's been okay but disposal is poor and MM sees Ellard as an important player.

Big game tomorrow v Coburg will be worth seeing. Hopefully a few stand up.

I've given Curnow votes two games running! Unheard of - but you can't drop him...he did a great job last week in Perth and backed in up again tonight on Sloane. Continuity important now.

Out: Hampson

In: Menzel (sub)

Crucial we build a win early and then continue building each quarter for a healthy %.
I dont wanna see that shit team claw back our % next week.

We need to learn to put teams to the sword .....

Pathetic fade tonight... just fell in to lazy habits.

We need to begin getting ruthless...put the boot to the throat and 'pop' the life out of them

I wonder if playing in Perth last week contributed to our last qtr fade out :?:

Ideally, Waite for Rowe and Kreuzer for Hampson.

Soon.

All for giving Mitchell or Mccarthy a go pending how they play tomorrow.

Casboult for Hampson a certainty.

couldnt get to todays match and havent seen the replay so no real comments on outs based on form. Given that it is melbourne though, I'd be happy to see a couple of players rested in order to have another look at a few players - casboult/buckley/menzel/ellard as examples.

I think Malthouse let Hammer know where hes playing next week by rucking Rowe in the second half of the last....

I don't think Gibbs will play. Suspect if he felt tightness In hammy they won't risk playing him considering the opposition.

Prefer Casboult to Hampson but need to see how he goes tomorrow before he's an automatic in.

Saw too much of the "very pleased with themselves attitudes/looks" in the last quarter, more ruthlessness is required, % may be crucial later in the year.

I thought our decline began when we started lairising in the 2nd qtr.

We had an extra day on Adelaide anyway.

Last year this would be a game we would be likely to drop.

Made mention of this in the match thread. Got very sloppy and cute in the 2nd.

We had the opportunity to be ruthless today and failed IMHO.

Trust MM will drive this point home during the week.
