Six day break for each team.

Vital game.

selwood to get 515 frees to Bluebaggers 1 (on the fullback line and we subsequently kick it out on the full).

Geelong will pull a win out of their arse as usual.

Whose hand will Josh Hunt step on this time?

Key: Roam; Stay at Home

The key is for those in the defensive unit to not drift too far forward of the centre, and for those in the midfield to not overcrowd our forward line. Not enough shots being taken from 50; it keeps the defence on their toes.

Same players except one out for Scotland, maybe umm ... I dunno, Bootsma for a rest.

I know it was a shit last qtr but I thought we showed an intensity similar to the big boys tonight [for much of the game].

Hooray for Sam Rowe - his ability to decide mid-air whether to mark or bring to ground is ace.

Did Laidler play any games for Northern Blues before today? It looked to me like he needed some more time before playing seniors.

Its time for Mick to start his gardening and do some weeding.

Looks like Joseph was the first to go. This week it will be Bootsma.

More is required from Lucas and Armfield at this level.

We need to take a look at the Buckley, Temay, Graham and Menzal as soon as we can.

Penny will drop for some when a senior player is dropped - Gibbs take note.

Getting a lot of it doenst make you a good footballer, knowing when to go hard does.

Too many players drift in and out of games and dont use the ball well enough

We can not allow for a shoot out against the Cats, this means midfield needs to push to both ends.

Its looking like it will be a very long season

I've noticed that my original thread title has been modified.

I was going by the official AFL Premiership Season Draw, which clearly states that it is the Geelong Cats, and not Geelong, playing Carlton this week.

If there is a senior player who has to go to make a point about giving 100% i reckon carrots or simmo should be looked at
both have been very ordinary. Good to get scotto back one bloke who does give 100%.

McLean too slow
Casboult needs some confidence
Bootsma will benefit from last two weeks but needs a break
We look better when we are quicker, smarter and more mobile

Having Waite, McCarthy, Ellard, Graham, Hampson, Collins, Betts, OKeefe, McInnes injured is really making it hard to get balance right.

Menzel needs to get a few games under his belt.

Looking forward to a number of these guys pushing for spots later in the year.

Over reaction.

Accept the side isn't full of awesomeness we were lead to believe, it's a middle of the road team which if it overachieves will finish about 6th and at worst could finish 13-14th if the shit hits the fan.

Drop Gibbs? He was our best player in Round 1!
