Introducing the Carlton 2013 thread for the supremely confident; the mildly optimistic; the passably positive.

In this thread you'll read posts by posters filled with waxed lyricism about the 'state of the season'. There'll be half-filled posts about potential this and all-coming-together that.

Feeling good about 2013? This is your thread. Sing some praises, why don't you?

I'll kick things off.

When I think about the Carlton midfield nowadays, I often forget to include Chris Judd in my ponderings.

I also think Thursday will be a win in the Carlton column. A very good, hard, telling win.

By the way, I'm moderating this thread. Anyone comes in and presents negative nelly, "Ooh, but what about ...?" and "Where's your Supercoach stats to back up that statement?" comments can just piss right off.

Glaring omissions in this thread in 2013 Australian Cricket Team, Australia Swimming Team, Australian Basketball Team and now Australia Soccer Team.

Levi Casboult is the next Earl Spalding.

I'm very confident going into Thursday's game. Would be surprised if we lost this.

Quietly confident, reckon us by 2 goals.

But normally I'm pessimistic, so my confidence is making me WORRY!!!!!

Robbie Warnock is very tall, and that is pleasing.

Yes. i am officially completely relaxed and not at all worried about Warnock's height. I think the part of Mick's game-plan that requires warnock to be tall will be understood completely, implemented consistently and difficult for other teams to counter.

Tom Bell is my new favorite player.

He will become a wrecking ball that opposition fear.

Can't wait to see it unfold.

CK95 - 10 minute ban for you.

How shit is the reporting at the moment? Mark Robinson bagging Mick's mixed messages; Opposition Analyst talking the game plan down ...

Stuff 'em. With Warnock's supreme height and Bell's favouriting, I'm pumped up like a middle-aged beer gut.
