There was a membership slogan we had in the late 90's along the lines of;

"Stronger, Tougher, Nastier"

It's high time we started to show a bit more of it.

I'll buy you lunch if you can prove that we had that slogan in the 90s

Then there was "The Best In The Business" the year after the salary cap fiasco :oops:

That would tie in with "Unleash ya mongrel" nicely

Given I said "along those lines" and given that 2000 counts as being in the decade of the 90's - I will settle for a beer this Thursday Night. :wink:

Those slogans are really crap. Hard to believe they're so bad.

I liked "They Know We're Coming" at the time, although it might have been a little premature.

The rest are shit, especially the cooking one.

Stick with I AM CARLTON

When you consider what the slogan is there for, "they know we're coming" was really, really good. The amount of talk and interest it created was massive. Even scum supporters I know used it to taunt me when they beat us, but the fact that they all knew out membership slogan said something about how effective it was

The ones that rhyme with the year are just cringe worthy.

I don't think you can come up with a good slogan every year and trying to do so is pointless. I'd rather us stick with something timeless that is truly carlton. I don't mind I am carlton, but I would prefer if our slogan for eternity was "we are the navy blues". Simple, strong, and being the first line of our song it's kind of historic.

For this same reason, I have to admit I liked the filths side by side slogan. Not trying too hard to be clever or witty
