Well well well, that is certainly a surprise. If true lets hope the pressure doesnt effect his game. Every news report had suggested Carrazzo. |

Was Carrots even eligible for the Rising Captain award? Assuming this is accurate, well done to Murph, a fine selection and I hope he embraces the role and does us all proud. |

I was happy either way but hopefully this will be win-win: Carrots will continue to pour everything into every second he's on the ground. Murphy might just go up another notch with the added responsibility. |

while im on my own bandwagon I'm going to go very early here (largely after listening to a piece on SEN today and seeing whats going on Shitwood in last 12 months) Swan will leave the Herpes at end of the year, and will follow his mentor to Lygon.......you heard it here first |

If Carrots was younger then he would of got it Same age as Judd and 31 in 2 years..... From the day Murph was drafted the club said he would captain the club one day... If true... and logic says it should be... then Well bloody done Murph !!! Go Blues |

A bit surprising but hopefully it brings out the best of Murph in terms of setting examples and leadership. |

Maybe Blueman got the tea leaves only slightly wrong and it was young leader rather than young coach. 2014 is all ours! |

Not impressed. Murphy seriously needs to improve his media skills. He is our representative on camera, and i always fibd him stilted and unconfident. He has more than enough time to develop this. |
