Looking forward to the "real' stuff. Real blockbuster feel with Tigers being built up as a finals side.

This is what I believe MM will go with:

B: Tuohy Jamison Laidler
HB: Yarran Henderson Duigan

C: Gibbs Carrazzo(c) Armfield
Foll: Kruezer Judd Murphy

HF: Garlett Rowe Robinson
F: Betts Casboult Walker

Int: Lucas Simpson McLean White
Em: Bell Hampson Dale

Not considered: Scotland Waite Ellard Graham OKeefe Collins McInnes

Looks the team.
I really wish Watson or McCarty had form.
Duigan is a liability back there at moment.

I like the team Psych...only one change for mine. Duigan out...Warnock in.

Oh...perhaps two changes...I don't have Rowe in my side. I don't think he and Casboult can play in the same forward line. Bell in.

My feeling is;

Tuohy Jamison Laidler
Duigan(c) Henderson Yarran
Gibbs Carrazzo Simpson
Walker Waite Garlett
Hampson Casboult Betts
Kruezer Judd Murphy
McLean Robinson Armfield Sub: Bell
Lucas(unlucky) White Rowe

I think we can carry Waite and Juddy is a given.

Do you really believe Duigan will be captain? May not even make the team.

Hampson 100% in for mine. Has been excellent this pre season.

Laidler Jamo Tuohy
Lucas Henderson Yarran
Gibbs Carrazzo Judd
Simpson Casboult Walker
Garlett Hampson Betts
Kreuzer McLean Murphy
Robinson Armfield Bell
Sub: Duigan

Can't see Waite being ready for this.

Judd must get some game in his legs next week.

Lucas last night cements his spot. He was quite good (except for his shocking miss in the last quarter).

The conundrum is Warnock or Hampson. There's pros and cons for both.

I hope Simpson is given the captain's armband. He is oozing leadership.

really pros and cons over hampson? After the crows game? Warnock was useless forward, and his hitouts were almost never to advantage. Hampson was marking all over the ground and kicked a goal, and his ruckwork wasnt bad either.

Psych I know you have had the belief that he'll go with one ruckman but that is simply incorrect.

Didnt Duigan already withdraw himself from the running for captain?

The fact that anyone believes they know what Mick Malthouses thinking is fanciful.

FWIW, my team for R1.

Laidler Jamison Tuohy
Yarran Henderson Duigan
Garlett Gibbs Lucas
Simmo Casboult Armfield (Defensive forward)
Betts Hampson Walker

Kruezer Judd Murphy

I/C Carrazzo (c) Robbo McLean White

Swap Hampson for Warnock and I think you might have it. Think he played his way in (and/or Warnock played his way out) vs Crows.

What's that based on? Mine is purely an observation looking from the outside. Do you know more?

Backline: That's the most probable back 6. If we see it up again on Friday, then it's as close to a lock as can be.

Centre: Simpson for Armfield and the rest almost pick themselves.

Forwards: Just can't see us risking it with two relative newbies in key posts.

Walker Casboult Armfield
Betts Hamspon Garlett

Int: McLean Robinson Lucas White.................gives us the cover we need around the ground.

A bit tough on Bell though and I wouldn't be surprised at all for him to make the squad at all.
Warnock should also be there, but now it's getting a little tricky if Hampson is destined for a forward spot.
