Jordan Bannister, Ian Prendergast, Cory McGrath... how did we not win the AFL premiership with these guys?

I hope that if we win this year that it's a different set of resulting circumstances to 2005 and 2007.

that really was an oversized wok bowl...
can still remember;
the Ian Prendergast super goal to setup the win
that it was like 30 odd degree's inside the stadium
Nick Stevens missed his brother's wedding for the game
Lance was slim and on fire after running around parks with a tyre hanging off him
Fev booted something like 8 goals and won the norm smith medal, opps the Michael Tuck medal - lol
and I hated Chris Judd back then

and everybody thought we had turned the corner and had recovered from our "issues" - they/we were wrong...

I wonder if the club has started planning the 10 year premiership reunion for that side.

Pretty impressive AFL retention rate 8 years on.... particularly Prender and Banno in fairly significant roles.

Probably best night ever for a Blues fan at that stadium.

I bet Stevens is glad he missed that wedding....not.

Some of those names....Callum Chambers, Justin Davies, Ian Prendergast oh geez.

I think if memory serves me correct, after that game, we became 5th favourites for the flag with the bookies.

You're a bit hard on Davies, he could play but injury caused him to retire early from the AFL scene
