CHRIS Judd has revealed he wants to play on next season, and is delighted his contentious deal with Visy has been settled

He shouldn't be so hard on himself.

"Sure Chris, that deal with Visy looks legit, go for it."

"Hey guys, the media keeps bringing up Judd's deal with Visy, we're coming off looking like chumps."

"Hi Chris, we've changed our mind about the Visy thing.............yeah, we know it's been five years............sorry but we're cracking down on these deals across the board."

"Hey guys, Judd's manager is talking legal action, if he takes us to court over this it could bring the whole salary cap system down."

"Hi Chris, look we're willing to come to a compromise with regard to your Visy deal, we'll tell the club they can pay some from injury payments and some more can go under last year's cap so you don't need to go down the legal route. We're good now?"

"Hi Jon, yeah, we've come to a compromise with Judd........Sure, you can quote us........Yeah it's a bit convoluted but we've already allowed this sort of thing with Dane Swan and Joel Selwood so couldn't knock Judd back.............what's that, you find it hard to believe that anyone other than Judd and Carlton has got questionable deals?"

with the juddster coming out of contract this year, would it free up some money to throw at buddy? and have juddy on a lesser contract

Why do the AFL bother? They allowed us to hide some of the money in injury payments!
