Williams, who played 250 games with Geelong, Sydney and Carlton, told the Seven network he knows he was in the winning premiership team in 1995 but does not remember a lot of the game.

I hope that doesn't mean he's forgotten outmarking Steven Handley in the 3rd qtr...

Watched on old VHS. Speaking of Handley I do remember him in an open goal square handpassing to a teammate, who presumably was not expecting the ball and fumbled it and the ball went through for a behind.

Given that is getting on to 20 years ago there are a lot of us who are having difficulty remembering the game.

Me too.
I certainly didn't remember Juddy playing in the '95 GF ... and when did he change from #13 to #5?

Sorry to go off on a tangent, but how fantastic is that commentary compared to the dross we get these days?

Concise, calls the action and little else. And it's not all about the commentators. Yes, I'm looking your way, Dermie and Monga.

Agreed!

Sandy Roberts a quality caller, too. Just tells it how it is. None of this over the top rubbish of Taylor or endless rhetorical quesitons by Macavaney "isn't it?" "doesn't he?" "won't it?"

Let's hope Sandy still has it.
