Just noticed this line from Andy Mckay “Importantly being able to host a number of corporate supporters who will have an exclusive opportunity to be a part of the training camp in Arizona will help to fund the camp.

Just the one line.... every paragraph of that presser mentions 'corporate supporters'.

Pies been doing this for several years and raise significant $ from the corporates for doing so. Generates positive view of the club amongst this sector of our supporter market.

Suggestion was made by bluegirl72 in another thread for the club to run a competion for a couple of members to join the corporates in Arizona - great suggestion.

Didn't they try a train with the boys promotion a few years ago? How did that go down.

Not uncommon. I know a guy who pours $000's into Tigerland, in return he attends their pre season camps, golf days, etc.

The article does not mention that Brisbane Lions are also going there and we have double booked with them...
Feel free to update what has happened there...

Were not much of a family club are we???

Ever watched a kid trying to have his ball signed these days????

But if a corporate pays.... he can go to Arizona and get closer to the players.

I have a theory on what i think will happen to footy over the next few decades... ill write about it some day....
Then i will repeat it ........but i wont plaster up any pictures......

Synners,

Apparently there was a story in tonight's news about Ratts not working next year and the Blues having to pay him $500k - not sure if you saw it

As a consequence the club may need the corporate $ to help pay Ratts and seemingly Reilly as well, any thoughts on having to make these payments.

Cheers

Don't have a problem with corps going to Arizona...as long as they dont' get in the way.

Would also love to see bg's suggestion of some grass roots fans getting to go as well...what an experience that would be!
