And we had to have it to see clearly the shortcomings of this football club. It was definitely a house of cards. From calamity let there be glory! Bring on the future!!! Aot of w0ork needs to be done to repair a wasted decade. |

I'd like to think, for instance, that the club is asking "what caused us to miss out on Player X (Jack Darling for example) and what can we do to lessen the chances of that happening again?" The only way I know to get better is to try something, screw it up, and learn from it. Luck is overrated. |

On field we were a house of cards, as well as off it. This will now change, everyone had their doubts and this year showed all our worst fears confirmed. Things are changing for the better, still a lot of hard work to be done. We need to get back to the top and put a sustainable system in place where we are consistently making Prelim's and GF's a la Collingwood, Geelong and Hawthorn have. |

Sigh. I was at the Gold Coast game that cost Ratten his job. I am going up to Sydney next week for that game, will I also witness the match that brings down another coach? |
