Where would you like Mick to send the boys?

Qatar?
Kokoda?
Arizona?
The Amazon?

Victoria Park?

Personally I could see the merits of a team bonding trip on the kokoda trail...
But it seems to be all about altitude training these days....

I have read the 'Cordy Report' on the scientific merit of Qatar. Still very experimental as to the benefits to the Australian Rules Footballer.

Here's the link....but be warned - you're going to have to pay for it.
http://www.physoc.org/proceedings/abstr ... c%2026PC65

There's lots of them out there...depends if you want the squad to have a cultural experience at the same time. If that's not high up on the list of priorities - stay in Australia. There are some very good ones - North-West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa; San Luis, Mexico and the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado where the Saints are going this summer.

Of course after the year we had - I would prefer they went to Siberia. After all, the high performance training didn't work for Ivan Drago.

I'm thinking of a trip deep into the jungles in Vietnam. It'll be a themed preseason based on the movie Apocalypse Now with Malthouse as Colonel Kurtz, Sticks as Willard, and Ratts playing Dennis Hopper's character.

Essentially, it doesn't matter where the team goes. If they take all they can out of the training, they'll be right. Look at Geelong, fairly sure that for a couple of years there, they went to places in country Victoria.

Their results from the last few years prove that traveling overseas is sometimes a bit of a wank.

They haven't found Jimmy Hoffa yet either. Detroit - here come the Blues!

The boys should build a house for the homeless.

Using their arms and legs for lifting - no cranes or ropes for our boys.

Kind of like the Amish in Witness.

Filmed in Intercourse, Pennsylvania...send the boys there, and I reckon a few wouldn't come back. Brother Dennis? Brother Mitch?
