Seems fitting that it ended this way. All the things that have caused angst for Ratts and supporters appeared in two hours. Almost like a highlight-reel of ineptitude and bad luck. |

Only positive - Mitchell & McCarthy can both take an overhead contested mark |

I know it means nothing but would of preferred to win. Especially against st k. Who would put their hand up to coach our players? Tough gig. |

Pros: Effort, workrate and real aggression. I guess that's at least 2 weeks out of 3. If we can get to that level 5 weeks out of 6, we'll be doing a whole better. Great game from McLean, although he missed some sitters. Very good midfield game from Gibbs, although he ran out of legs. Terrific effort by Walker on Milne. His kicking was outstanding. Duigan. Simmo's run. McCarthy's AFL athleticism. We get into the draft 2 spots earlier. Cons: Injuries early in the game. Yet another game where we lost due to poor finishing. You can bank on it every time at Etihad. General skill level. |

This time i almost downed a bottle of petit verdot alone...... Comfortably numb. We have no idea.. and our good players cant come to the fore to lead. StKilda very happy with themselves...... ![]() |

In ascending order of interest, from least to most interesting: We played, and lost. Milne was a turd, as usual. Our new coach hates Milne as much as we do. Kernahan called Ken Wood a Nazi during the President's speech. Ratten stopped listen to, and walked away from, Coutts... something the club should do as well. The new boys who came in did some pretty good things, good to see them finally in the navy blue. The season that went absolutely off the rails during the Port Adelaide debacle is finally over, and we need suffer 2012 no more. |
