Off to the game. Feeling we will get touched up.

Nothing to play for, young side, well drilled Saints, Etihad Stadium and the draining of an emotional week will mean a struggle.

Saints by 40. Bring on 2013.

I suspect that will not be far off the mark. Hope the new boys get a good taste for it.

A little sad given the high expectations in April.

Well I've been knocked over with a cold, toughening up on the couch to watch today.

Hope the new boys show a glimpse.

ROK to tag Goddard, good way for us to have a look at what he's made of.

I also have a feeling we'll get touched-up with such an inexperienced line-up, but I'd be somewhat satisfied as long as I see the following:
- Ratts deserves a standing ovation from our supporters, who should outnumber Saints fans 2-1 if fair dinkum.
- Our young guys (ROK, Squid and McCarthy) show some signs and gain some confidence to take into preseason, and for the coaches to give them tough assignments to test themselves against. Also, for our 'senior' players to protect and guide them. If they do something good, get around them. If a Saints flog pushes them around, push them back.
- Our 'softer' players like Yarran and Gibbs to show they can do more than just fancy things with ball in hand. Show some urgency and put your head over the ball FFS.
- NO. @#$%&!. INJURIES.
- 22 exhausted players to come off the ground at the final siren, all energy expended, and some genuine hurt at seeing Ratten walk off for the last time. Tears would be good.
- Robbo/McLean to clean up Milne.

Let him play. The game doesn't require our best users to tag, leave that to Curnow.

Fair enough, but he's tagging Goddard. Ratts is taking it pretty serious as you'd imagine so we're going with three taggers.

Another one of those easy open forward line goals that have plagued us all year!

Good defending from that kick out, Milera kicks an easy first.
