Tht bloke ... 'Best candidate from a thorough search' looks a likely type. What's his credentials? Friends of Denis Pagan. In all seriousness, if it's a serious outcome, I'm up for it. |

Interesting Rocket Eade not more prominent. What he did for the bullies with the facilities he had and the players at his disposal far outweighs MM with the Lexus centre and his list. Four gand finals and only 1 premiership. And he would come a lot cheaper and make Eddie awfully mad. ![]() |

Funny how people keep talking about all the money Malthouse had at Collingwood. When he went there, they had just won the wooden spoon, and were millions in debt. They couldn't land a trade until Jolly and Ball arrived in 2010. Malthouse had the advantage of facilities and money only really about 5 years into his time there. By then he'd taken a wooden spoon team to 2 GFs without the advantages he had later on. |

So got Collingwood to back to back GFs with an average list and without the advantage of money or facilities. |

In 2001 their net profit was $855,533 and their revenue had increased 57 per cent since 1998 to be $22.23 million in 2001 which was a similar result to Essendon* at the time.

If there's one thing that Pagan taught us, it's that you need the right coach for the right list. For a team with Wayne Carey, a firing McKernan and quality small mids, Pagan's approach (re: Paddock) was the perfect fit. For us, it was disastrous. Let's not make a similar mistake this time. Get Mick if he's the right fit, not simply because he's Mick. |

Given the first option in the poll is no longer valid a new poll should be created. |

I don't want Mick. I don't want to be responsible for the death of an old man. My conscience couldn't bear it. |
