Power forward
cost CFC <$100K
guaranteed membership uplift
Love to "re-join" CFC
Potentially rehabilitated
Low risk

Make him earn his spot - do a pre-season. We don't need to spend $1M on cloke.

If he makes it, then potential to bridge our forward gap until Levi & co comes up. Can also coach them on how to play forward. If not, the membership drive would more than cover the cost.

Ban all his media commitments and just play footy and guide the young forwards.

You can probably all guess who I'm talking about. Tell me your thoughts! Have an open mind!!

Lance Whitnall! Good call Kouta, can definitely see where you're coming from. I agree that he probably would need to complete a pre-season to earn his spot. Or twenty...

I'd love Kennedy back but he'd cost more than $100k

Ridiculous idea. At Talking Carlton, this is some of the great ideas generated here, if you missed the last month of threads:
*Sack Ratten
*Hire Malthouse
*Sack Kernahan / Gleeson
*Bring in new board.
*Change the club captaincy.
*Sack Brock / Trade Warnock
*Levi, Mitchell and Sam Rowe will be our next big key forwards to bring the premiership home
*Trade for a keyforward, anyone but Cloke.

To think of anything different to this and you will get little sly comments and people will take the piss out of you. Even though the guy could come in and be the best forward at CFC carrying 10kgs right now, doesn't mean sqwat on this site, save your breath. Waste of time.

I'm all for it IF there is no-one else, which they're probably isn't. Premierships aren't about how many pub walls you p!ss on but how many goals you kick. People complain like crap that we don't have a key forward but one is there but of course, "no, we can't do that". It's like there's a whole apple tree of power forwards and we just have to pluck one...lol! Beggars can't be choosers. You take what's on offer otherwise lament what might have been, shut up and don't complain. He hasn't been in trouble for quite a while. Even the biggest of kids grow up.

Would love Fev back in the Navy Blue 25. Obviously there were were major doubts last off season but 12 months on and he seems to be in a good place so if he got fit and the contract was done properly i don't think we'd have anything to lose !

Under 100K? You could probably pay for him with your big salary Goltz. You're over 100K aren't you?
