No late changes #AFLDonsBlues! Subs: Jetta (@Essendon_FC) + Bell (@Carlton_FC). |

I'd rather Bell wasn't the sub |

Would rather ROK be out there. Perfect conditions for a hard nut with a long accurate kick and the pace taken out of the game. The side toughest at the contest will win this one. Time for Gibbs to stamp his authority. |

Agreed. This is the kind of day where Gibbs can go next level ... |

Look at the form and the talent in each side. We should win and win well. |

Not sure you can say that psych. Our backline is greener than lime cordial. They're at full strength. I don't rate us 50/50 in this. Bombers have some big ins. |

They've lost something like 8 out of 10 games. Players back are underdone. I like the combination of size and speed we have around the ball and the mobile forward line. As for backline I agree but I have a lot of faith in White (who I really rate) and McInnes. Touhy, Duigan have the size and will need to assist. Scotland as well. The conditions suit us and there is a guy named Judd! IMO the best side we have had on the park in a long while. |

Been raining all morning but some sunshine bursting through and may be okay. Ground looks really good and players are kicking ball around okay. Probably be a bit slippery but generally pretty good. |

Why is Bell the sub? I wanted his strength in the clinches, especially on a wet ground. He has muscle, speed and a big tank. Why? Selection this year is baffling bordering on dreadful. I'd love to know what their thought process is each week. |

Don't understand Bell as sub either. Weather has been clear for last hour or so ground looks in really good nick |
