Off home. Liked Gibbs and Carrots especially when released after qtr time. Betts was Betts. Krooz was good. Benefits of playing kids again seen. McInnes, ROK, Watson, Casboult add excitement. |

He was in the back 50 a fair bit and was in the second last line when the press was on (see his goal for an example). He was getting onball a bit to but usually started a possession behind the ball and ran through. Good game by him but a few errors late took some shine off. |

Gibbs - 33 disposals is the most he has had since round 2 2011. Wing / midfield is his go. |

Interested to know what people thought of Waite's game. My mate at the ground said he must still be less that 100% fit as very reluctant to work off the ball. |

Am I the only one that thought that was woeful???? 28 - 27 in terms of scoring shots! Brisbane being woeful in front of goal made us look better than we actually were! - still crap disposal - still piss fart around - still let teams get the run through the corridor. - still push up the ground too much! We started the game like we didn't really give a toss and we ended the game the same way! If it weren't for that 10min passage in the 3rd qtr we would have been stuffed. Sorry. Don't mean to sound like a sour puss but honestly - if we gave a @#$%&! tonight we would have won by 60+ points minimum!!! |

Agree with Ryan2000. I was not happy. Looked very much like against Swans with bad structure and no creating options by working without the ball. Lions were crap and had a side in with 11 players less than 50 games. Forward line was much better. I think we have the power forward we need who can take the grabs. Levi just has to learn how to kick straight. Happy with McInnes' job on JB. Garlett better again. Midfield just too slow to spread and creating options. Delivery woeful both by foot and hand. Good 3rd qtr, but thats it. Assume it looked better on TV - but live when you can see whats happening... woeful. |

Ordinary game and horribly inexperienced backline but another good win given team playing and personnel available Levi really good glad he nailed a couple of goals must work on his kicking over the pre season a couple of great contested marks Bell also looked good Thought scotland was our best plus Gibbs and Murphy Good to get game time into Watson Mcinnes Eddie and Jeffy good Walker and Robby back improves the team Very slow start Can't see this side beating bummers next week with that backline Hurley crameri will have field day Another good evening for the coach who would have been in the gun if we had of lost Disappointing that Brisbane got a few cheap and soft goals in the last quarter |

The only time we looked good was when Brisbane dropped right off. They just gave up. We were a bit lucky Maguire pulled out and Merrett had to play back or we could of really struggled if Brisbane converted their opportunities in the first half. The positives though: 1. Releasing tags after 1st qtr, Carrots started to win ball and influence the game. 2. Gibbs on wing running from goal line to goal line. He really pushed hard and was buggered at the end. Good to see. 3. The kids: Injuries have done us a massive favour. Casboult, McInness, Bell, OKeefe, Watson, White have shown there is something there if we develop it properly. 4. Like White at FB. Real option in that position. |

Went to the game, pretty average to watch. A win is a win and good to see the kids getting games. Agree with others regarding Gibbs, best game in a while. Murphy took a battering, Waite took a good mark in the goal square. Umpiring was poor, very inconsistant again. Juddy back next week, he will be jumping out of his skin. We won 3 of the 4 games he missed which is a good sign. Good to have Robbo and Walker back, Walker in particular looked good. |

I definitely don't think Gibbs was running especially hard tonight or that he ran himself into the ground. I was at the game and paid particular attention to him. Still cruises around and and plays with a lack of intensity/conviction. Sure he got plenty of it, but still needs to show more intensity in my opinion. I find him incredibly frustrating to watch.....maybe it's just me and I'm a harsh judge, but I want to see more from him. |
