Carlton vs Essendon* 1: 45pm Saturday 18.8.12 MCG Judd back. Betts may miss with a calf. Jamison might be back from his hammy. |

Betts out would be a bugger. Still reckon we only need one of Curnow and McLean (or Ellard). Their talls will stretch us. |

We are fragile. Smashed us last time but Juddy back and games into Walker and Robbo, could be a chance. |

From the CFC Twitter: "Eddie copped a knock to his calf, but he should be fine. We thought it would be wise to sub him." So Judd returns and Jamo a chance as well. |

JUDD is back. Revenge for cheap shot against Carrazzo Murphy told the media he was looking fwd to giving them the same back next time after the rnd 4 loss. Well next time is next Saturday. Come on...cannot stand the pricks...Gotta win. Need all hands on deck. Hopefully Jamison is a surprise selection. JUDD |

Judd back. Don't think Jamo will come back. Key question is whether we drop ROK for Judd or whether we drop Curnow or whether Robinson was seen to have shown enough to say he'll be better for the run... I don't think we'll take them lightly (like we did first time around this year... and last year... and the year before... And I think we will win convincingly like last year... and the year before.... (Only worry is the same "she'll be right" attitude as we had during our form plunge creeping in in the last qtr against the lions) |

Braithy wrote: Bell derserves Curnow's role imo... I don't know if he's good the engine to match, but he has class and strength over Curnow. He gets the ball and breaks tackles. I don't think Bell will be dropped anyway. |

Unlikely Curnow will get dropped as neither ROK or Judd play his role. It will be Bell I would think. |

Robinson needs to wear a head gear. That way he can still play the game style he likes but can get up for second efforts quicker rather than being knocked out. Also it would make him more kamikaze thinking he can't get hurt. |

Need to play more than one quarter if we're a chance this week Expect mega booing every time Judd touches the ball Need to smash them in the middle otherwise our backs will get exposed... Rok to make way for Judd and I suspect (hope I'm wrong) Bell will be sub If we only win one more for the year, it has to be this one... if we can't win, I'd settle with putting a few out for some weeks |

If we play the same as we did tonight, we'll get smashed. Tonights game was slow movement and error ridden skillwise. They team looked tired for the most part and won only through a purple patch in the 3rd Qrt. Heres hoping we win 'cos I hate this mob more than any other but on tonights effort.....i cant see it happening. ![]() |

They'll rip us apart in the middle! The way the lions run it through the middle with absolute ease gave me a sickening preview of what the bumbers will do to us next week. I can just see it now. We're still downhill skiers... ![]() |
