Reported by inside footy scribe Crackers Keenan, apparently Bomber has the fire int he belly and wants to coach us.

It was reported that he wants to bring 'The Weapon' with him.

Crackers reported that Carlton and Ratten will part ways amicably.

This makes things very interesting with the MM, Cloke connection.

Claiming the info came from a close friend who is very influential at Carlton.

I find the whole thing very hard to believe...

...especially the part about Crackers having a close friend..

If it is a choice between Mark Thompson and Mick Malthouse then as far as I'm concerned it's Bomber Thompson all the way.

+100, although Bomber is looking far more refreshed these days compared with his days at Geelong where he looked as if he only 2 hours sleep a night.

Can do without the Weapon. Geelong had the basic strength to handle his program, Essendon* didn't, built them too fast and broke them down. Everyone knows you don't build muscle too fast. Nervous system can't cope with the change in regards to neuromuscular co-ordination hence you break down.

I'd just about crack an erection if we got Bomber here.

Best case scenario. We've found it.
