Every one of the 22 has to play their guts out next week, or we'll get flogged. Next to Hawthorn, The Swans are one of the best drilled sides in effecting their gameplan, and just push and push and push. If they're given any latitude by our boys, they will simply take the game out of reach, and wil dictate terms. Not confident of a win next week, but it shouldn't be beyond them. As bad as it seems to be rejoicing in another player's injury, Ben Reid being out is a big plus for us. We have to use Yarran's run and hard rebounding to hurt them hard and fast. Our kicking must be accurate, both at targets and at goal, or we won't give ourselves a chance to win. It will be a case of go hard, or go home. |

although some think we can afford to lose one more and still make finals, I'm thinking this is the last roll of the dice. At the moment my heart is saying that we have a chance but my head is giving us no chance. My head can go and get %^&&^&. I might as well enjoy this week and treat this game like a grand final. The keys will be Murphy, Carazzo and believe it or not Mclean. |

We need our best tackling side on the park for the pink ducks, so I'd bring in Ellard. We need to more than halve the ruck contest to give us 1st use, so I'd bring in Warnock. We need Kreuz to play the R/rover role and continuously push the ball forward. We need a one-out forward target in Casboult and we must keep Bell. Add Robbo, Waite, Simmo and Simmo and we're in with really good shot |

The Swans are outright favourites against Carlton despite playing in Melb. Nevertheless, I'm giving us a good chance to beat the Swans. We've got a bit of ticker. Robbo and Warnock should be definite ins (if Warnock performs in the reserves today). Ellard's hard body and desperation will be a good weapon against the Swans imo. Waite, Walker and Simmo would be god sends if they are fit to play.(Hopefully Waite is on top of his back ailment and stands up today). Dale, Casboult, McInnes, Davies and Duigan would be the ones most lin line to omit....maybe Collins. Bell stays in. I like Duigan a lot, especially his strong body against the Swans, but he doesn't look to have touch. Davies is strong too, but this combat against Swans isn't for players who can't go for 4 quarters. I don't think Davies is in tip top fitness to play against the Swans. Come on Bluebaggers, keep the dream alive. |

Levi needs to stay in and play 80-90% up forward . will make a huge difference to the way we normally play at Eddie stadium and on a dry track he'll take his grabs. loved his goal in the last under so much pressure, the kid will be a a gun i say. if fit walker and robbo for dale and davies. def can win. boys are confident again and swans are primed to be bent over and thumped |

Last person I want to see in is Ellard, too slow and not big enough and will be swamped by their imposing midfield. McLean's form has killed off Ellard's chances I think, and with Curnow in & under and a spare tagger I don't see Ellard getting a look in. Will be interesting to see who comes up this week. Normally Walker would be a walk-up start, as with Robinson, so if they're fit we may see McInnes and say Dale returned to the twos; that being said the unobtrusive McInnes may be needed in defence as a spare parts man. I've watched the Swans a few times this year and they are fantastic. Hard, fast and with more skill outside than in year's past. If we can match it with them for most of the match I'll be pleased but they're miles ahead of us who have scrounged two wins against Bottom 6 opponents. |

Is this at the G? We got a punchers chance if it is. I love our lineup and balance at the moment. Lets hope the coaching strategy doesn't put us back in our shells. Proactive and hard at the ball, and you just never know. |

Will be a tough game, but they are due a loss. hey guys... first time poster. been reading all season. imo, Simmo and Robbo are automatic selections if they're fit... not so sure about Walker. yes he was good last year, but his form has been pretty bad this year even when fit. right now i'd drop Dale and Davies for Simmo and Robbo and leave the rest the same. |

Pity Judd not playing he loves playing against the swans their midfield is really good and their back six is the best in the comp and the most settled- their forwards are not much particulary with Ried and Goodes gone they are getable but not with 8 or 9 players with less tham 35 games but they are due for a loss Like to see Robbo come back in with Bargearse to match their hardness go small and fast up forward because we wont match their marking ability in defence get Garlett , Betts , Collins maybe Walker in there to run rings around them |

I'd lean towards out - curnow, dale, duigan in - robinson, walker, simpson curnow a bit stiff to be omitted but bell/mclean must retain their spots + robinson is ahead of curnow in my book |

Not expecting a win, even if Reid and Goodes are out for them. They're too disciplined and cover their losses very well. Our last two wins have been with balls alone against rabbles of teams. This Swans outfit is well-drilled, hard at the footy and supremely confident. Our bubble is probably gonna burst. |
