Still very frustrated with the forward set up we have despite kicking accurately for a change. Too often go to the pockets when a kick to the hot spot is on. And when we do go direct we are way too slow/stagnent and kick it on top of our forwards heads with no space to run onto the incoming kick. Can`t believe the coaches haven`t addressed this. We are relying on Eddie brilliance way too much. There are times when there is zero movement for a player looking to kick it deep into the 50. Just not good enough for this to continually happen.
The good thing about that is we are penetrating our 50m a fair bit.
Accuracy is the key, week in week out.
Success comes easily with easy shots at goal.
We've got to get the ball to a multitude of hot spots. Wedidn't seem to do that alot on the weekend.
Moved the ball rugby style sorta...and speaking of that Bell can be used against the Swans rugby players...we need to start hurting the opposition, even if it means just getting in their head. We're not intimidating.
Maybe that's because we had our reserves out there
We have no tall timber to pick out till I saw Casboult forward.
Now, he has presence. I hope his kicking to goal is AFL standard.
Mitchell is big too, so those 2 make the outlook for KPF promising.
Warnock's back this week, and I hope Casboult plays FF so the amigos feed off him...or mark in the hot spots...for easy shots at goal.
