I think all he meant was that Goltz should realise that Fev would be happier playing in the country :smoking:

Make him earn his spot - do a pre-season. We don't need to spend $1M on cloke.

If he makes it, then potential to bridge our forward gap until Levi & co comes up. Can also coach them on how to play forward. If not, the membership drive would more than cover the cost.

Ban all his media commitments and just play footy and guide the young forwards.

You can probably all guess who I'm talking about. Tell me your thoughts! Have an open mind!!

Ridiculous idea. At Talking Carlton, this is some of the great ideas generated here, if you missed the last month of threads:
*Sack Ratten
*Hire Malthouse
*Sack Kernahan / Gleeson
*Bring in new board.
*Change the club captaincy.
*Sack Brock / Trade Warnock
*Levi, Mitchell and Sam Rowe will be our next big key forwards to bring the premiership home
*Trade for a keyforward, anyone but Cloke.

To think of anything different to this and you will get little sly comments and people will take the piss out of you. Even though the guy could come in and be the best forward at CFC carrying 10kgs right now, doesn't mean sqwat on this site, save your breath. Waste of time.

Shhhhhhhh everybody, it's time for a song...

Roughead would be a great pick up but highly doubt it.

We need Mrs. Pratt to push the board to re-engage 25 and bring him back to the club.

Give him a shot. nothing to lose. Take a risk.

Hey Koutamagic,

Stop talking rubbish and go book tickets for the new Batman movie. Make sure we get good seats!

Apologies all for my mate's nonsensical post. He didn't take his medication.

I bet a few around the club are spewing we did not pick up Fev for this year.

Then we could have laid the blame for our demise on his negative influence.....

Every time I pump for Fev's return a KP forward does well, this time Levi, even though he played ruck.

So I'll keep pumping...lol! If I do it enough times someone will turn into a Jono Brown..lol! If you're on a good thing..................

Personally I believe we are well off for Power Forwards.

In the modern game you need TWO in your best 22. Possibly one who can ruck as well.

On our list we have Henderson, Mitchell, Casboult, Waite & Rowe.

Henderson IMO was a natural forward and is smart in his positioning. If another stands up supported by Waite and Walker and our smalls we look fairly potent!

Henderson - Backman
Waite - Doesn't play more than 1/2 the season.
Rowe - Never played a game / rookie
Mitchell - Never played a game / rookie and injury prone.
Casabolt - Showed promise against the bulldogs.

I wouldnt say we have had TWO power forwards in our best 22 all season long. Waite is the only proven power forward and he is never out there

Nothing to lose ... except club stability.

Better to get Ben Reid and throw Henderson forward.

Trade Walker, Waite, Casboult, Thornton, Hampson and anyone else masquerading as a tall foward.

Get Dalhouse, Saad and Milera (@#$%&! Milne), push Yaz back to the forward line.

Saad Betts Milera
Garlett Dalhouse Yarran

Get a US college cheerleader coach in the offseason and pay them big bucks as our forwards coach.

Get the coach to teach them this:

Tall forward problems over, Carlton innovators once again...
