As we've seen one of them seems to always be injured or on the odd occasion suspended so it makes sense to have a few of them on the list. The other key issue is Warnock can't just walk out if he is traded; we would have to get a fair deal unlike the Adelaide/Jacobs situation where we had to pretty much take what was offered. I wonder if Gold Coast would be prepared to talk about one of our ruckmen and their young key forward Tom Lynch - they have May, Tape, Thompson, Day, Dixon - they have Zac Smith and a couple of other raw ruckmen but would be keen on someone who has been in the system for 6 years and is from SE Qld. |

I am completely puzzled. is he a back up? Or, are they still going to try and play K. as a ruck/ forward. Which, obviously, would be very disappointing. oh, sorry effes, your post came out before Iread it.  yeah, so, maybe shored up as a potential trade. hmm. |

There is no choice but to sign him up. He is only half fit ATM but fully fit he's our best tap ruckman and contrary to some of the commentary this year he is smart and does a lot of work around the ground, but again only when fit. Hammer is gone for the year and might end up being a forward, but whatever happens you can't NOT sign up a quality player. |

You need a minimum of 3 rucks on your list They might be big but they go down like flies and spend more time sitting in the stands than playing on the park There is currently 17 ruckmen sitting on the sidelines in the AFL at the moment with injuries Mighten sound a lot but when you conside most have 2 maybe 3 on their list this means nearly every club has one out Dont think much of Warnock myself he is a very good tap ruckman and not much else - needs to do more around the ground - But he is signed now |

I don't even agree that he is a good tap ruckman... He's a ruckman who is good at getting taps, sure, but I just don't see us getting any real advantage from his ruck work. Though played a good final last year. |
